Project Description : This commentary examines cyberwarfare targeting healthcare supply chains as an underrecognized threat to emergency medical services (EMS) in the United States, using the March 2026 Stryker cyberincident as a case study. We argue that in the context of prehospital settings, cybersecurity is inseparable from patient safety, operational continuity, and equipment readiness.
